Biography
Sanam Pourbabaei was a 26-year-old violinist and music teacher from Siahkal, Gilan. She was killed on January 8, 2026, after being shot directly by security forces near the Lahijan governorate. Following her death, she was buried in the Barfjan cemetery in her hometown of Siahkal.
